Introductory summary:
The Pilot International Scholarship, created in 1988, offers financial support to undergraduates pursuing careers that align with Pilot International’s mission—working with youth and young adults in leadership and development; assisting others and promoting brain health and safety; or supporting families during crises.
Eligibility:
- Open to graduating high school seniors and students enrolled full time in an undergraduate program. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment for the entire scholarship period.
- Intended for applicants whose career objectives advance one or more of Pilot International’s priorities: (1) youth and young adult leadership and development, (2) helping people and promoting brain safety and health, or (3) providing care for families in times of need.
- Selection considers community service, demonstrated financial need, academic achievement, and the application materials submitted.
Award details:
- Scholarships are granted for one academic year.
- A recipient may reapply and receive the Pilot International Scholarship for up to three (3) additional years.
- Award amounts vary up to a maximum of $2,000.00 per year.
