Jack Peterson Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Arizona School Boards Association
The Jack Peterson Scholarship is presented each year to a minimum of one Arizona high school senior who intends to major in education at the college or university level. Award sizes fluctuate annually according to the endowment’s investment earnings and are generally in the $1,000 to $1,500 range.
The scholarship honors Jack Peterson, who served as ASBA Executive Director from 1991 to 1998.
By submitting a nomination, you confirm that the nominee attends a school district that is an active member of ASBA.
Eligibility:
- Current senior enrolled in an accredited public high school located in an Arizona school district that is an active ASBA member.
- Plans to enroll in an accredited Arizona college or university and to declare education as a major.
- Academic and attendance record demonstrating strong achievement and consistent attendance.
- Evidence of positive leadership, good citizenship among peers, and ongoing involvement in school and community activities.
